When I was 14, my outspoken opinions led my Sunday school teacher to call me a liberal feminist. I had to go home and google what a liberal feminist was. Turns out he was right.
One of my biggest goals in life is to always be genuine and authentic, no matter what. I made a latch-hook rug to remind myself and others that the best version of yourself is the real, honest version.
Do not be afraid to come as you are, whatever that may be.
THE PROCESS
Plan out the design and trace the design onto the rug backing.

Buy a heck ton of yarn, use it all, then buy some more.
Use a latch hook to individually tie 3,500 pieces of yarn to the backing.

Once all the yarn has been tied to the backing, trim it to make it nice and eve.
5. ta-da!
